Every Advent 4 Sunday, St Margaret’s begins to get ready for Christmas by decorating the church, and this week was no different.
Our merry band of (slightly chilly) souls had lots fun trying to remember instructions and where things went.
The young people reminded us to put up angel banners that they had made when they were younger.
Bryony also remembered being taught by Michele how to flower arrange years ago, so she very much took the lead with the small posies.
We finished off with a soup and cheese lunch, followed by delicious Christmas biscuits and cakes provided by Sam and Lucia.
Special thanks to Rachel and Cheryl who came in on Saturday and decorated the rood screen and the pulpit. Also thank you to Joanna and Lucy who will be in this week to do the flower pedestals ready for Christmas Eve. We are so blessed to have so many talented people who give their time to St Margaret’s Church.
