Where are you from? My wife Flavia and I were born in Brazil and our two daughters were born in Spain. We have been living in Oxford since 2015.
How did you find St Margaret’s? We received a message from Lynsey about St Margaret’s blessing of the backpacks last September and since then we have been coming to the Sunday masses.
What do you do here? Flavia works for an international development charity and lectures at the University and I work in banking and unfortunately commute to London quite often.

What do you like about the church? It is lovely to see how much people are committed and engaged with the church in different ways: organising events, coordinating children activities, singing in the choir, recording YouTube videos, making prayers, playing instruments. It’s really wonderful. I also like very much the sermons and conversations with members of our community – I have been learning a lot.

What are you looking forward to over the next few months? I am looking forward to when we can all meet our families and friends again in person. I also look forward to playing football and coaching the Summertown Stars’ under-10 team (my younger daughter plays for the might U10 Meerkats).
What three words would you use to describe your faith? I guess I could say Probing, Self-learning, Outreaching
