Earlier this month, James Fairbairn and Sam Schad organised a collection of items for MOET, an orphanage in Malawi. James Fairbairn has sent this update:
“We delivered 21 boxes of clothes, books, toys, shoes, household equipment, classroom materials, IT equipment and two sewing machines to Christian African Relief Trust (CART) in Huddersfield on 21 July. They will be packed in the container leaving for Mangochi, Malawi on 6 August. Many thanks to everyone who contributed in cash or kind to this shipment. We have enough cash to cover the freight costs and any surplus will be sent to MOET through their UK charity FOMOE, who can send funds efficiently and securely”.
