Dan, Lucy and I have had a very cold but fun couple of days completing our Outdoor First Aid course.

We had lots of opportunities to practice possible scenarios (and also our acting skills). From abdominal thrusts to ticks, from compound fractures to adder bites, there has been lots to remember all within the beautiful surroundings of N.E.I.G.H. at Watlington Hill Farm.

This summer, we are hoping to take a group of young people from St Margaret’s on a pilgrimage to Winchester Cathedral.

Youth Pilgrimages have been a long tradition at St Margaret’s. Back during the lockdown we contacted some of the previous pilgrims to help us in our virtual pilgrimage. Many of these pilgrims hold St Margaret’s in a special place and have wonderful memories of their time on various pilgrimages over the years. You can revisit the pilgrimage community page on our website here.

We’ll be arranging a Q&A session in the next few weeks for parents and young people, and if in the meantime you’d like more information about how your (13+ year old can join the pilgrimage this summer then please have a chat to Eva, Lucy or Dan.
