There are several events taking place on this most solemn of days.
Hot Cross Bun Service
This service, designed especially for younger children (pre-school and Key Stage 1 ages) is at 10am at St Margaret’s Church.
Morning Prayer with Litany
Morning Prayer takes place not at its normal time at St Margaret’s, but at 10.30am at St Giles’, in the form of a choral BCP Morning Prayer service with the Litany.
Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday
The Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday takes place from 1.30pm at St Margaret’s.
It will be livestreamed on St Margaret’s YouTube channel and available to watch afterwards – and there will be a direct link to the address on our Holy Week Addresses page (all of the previous addresses are available there).

Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater
In place of the normal Evening Prayer service, a liturgical performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater will take place at 5.30pm at St Giles’.
