The Jazz at St. Giles‘ concert on 3 February with the Imperial College Big Band and Oxford University Jazz Orchestra was sold to capacity, and hugely enjoyed by our enthusiastic patrons. It was the first of the 2024 series, and our next two concerts are on 17 February and 11 May. Thanks to the indispensable helpers who made it such a wonderful and much enjoyed evening. One 90 year old member of the audience had played bass in the former Oxford University Jazz band and was thrilled to compare notes with his current counterpart in the Oxford group. We made a profit of over £1000.
