This is a special update message as tomorrow (Thursday) is Ascension Day, one of the Principal Feasts in the Church’s year – 40 days after Easter, and the beginning of a special time of prayer until we celebrate Pentecost, 10 days after this.
All members of the Church are strongly encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion on this day if at all possible – whether at your usual home church, or elsewhere.
Below are the times for services in our Benefice, along with the collect and readings.

Ascension Day
Grant, we pray, almighty God,

who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
