This is to receive the finalised accounts (which will be circulated in advance) and to allow for the election of new PCC members.
If you would like to consider standing for election to the PCC of St Giles’ and would like a nomination form, or have any questions about it, please do get in touch with Daniel.
Upcoming PCC dates

The PCCs of both churches will be meeting in September:
- St Margaret’s PCC on Wednesday 13 September at 7:30pm in the baptistery in church;
- St Giles’ PCC on Wednesday 20 September at 7:30pm in the meeting room in the parish rooms (enter via the Woodstock Road entrance).
Please contact Daniel (vicar@StGilesStMargarets.org) if there is anything that you would like the PCCs to discuss or approve.

St Margaret’s Sunday Evening Services

From 1 October 2023 the Sunday BCP Evening Prayer / Evensong services at St Margaret’s will revert to their original time of 6pm.
Please note also that on Sunday 8 October, the service will be replaced with a special Child Loss Awareness Service (more information coming soon). For those for whom this may not be appropriate, a BCP Evensong will be offered at St Giles’ on that evening at their usual time of 6.30pm.
First Communion Classes

BeSpace

In the week commencing Monday 9 October, St Margaret’s Church will be running Be Space prayer spaces in school for a full week at Phil & Jim School. We need several volunteers (from St Giles’ or St Margaret’s) to commit to a morning or a day in school. It sounds like a lot of fun and Eva will be leading it, so will make sure that we have nice treats along the way! If you would like more information or would like to sign up then please contact Eva – eva@stmargaretsoxford.org
St Giles’ Fair

The St Giles’ Fair, with its model exhibition in our church, was a big success – take a look at some photos and a brief report:
Pathways magazine

The Summer issue of the Diocese of Oxford’s quarterly magazine, Pathways, is still available.
The Diocese have changed their distribution methods, and now there are plenty of copies available for our churches. Pick up your free paper copy from either St Giles’ or St Margaret’s, or download the electronic version from their website:
